INTERNATIONAL HUMANITY DIASTYLE FREE CLINIC (IHD clinic) is run as an NGO locally in Nepal and is fully supported and financed by the European non-profitable organizations: INTERNATIONAL HUMANITY www.internationalhumanity.net and DIASTYLE www.diastyle.eu.

The main goals of the IHD Free Clinic are:
  • To provide free medical care to poor people in need
  • To take special care of patients with chronic diseases and illnesses including diabetes
  • To educate their families, friends and members of the general public interested in diabetes about diet and healthy lifestyle choices
  • To spread information on communicable as well as non-communicable diseases and their prevention and control

The uniqueness of this modern clinic is in the secured information network system that enables specialists from all over the world to participate in patient's treatment. Also, the general public can see via the internet on its website its daily routines and staff working in real time. Every patient will have all of his/her medical records stored in the form of an electronic card, which will increase the effectiveness of treatment, save time and make easy access to data from any authorized computer connected to the internet. This program has been developed with great help by the company, Funlife P(Ltd).

The IHD clinic, located in Kathmandu, is the first project developed and supported by the alliance of NGOs INTERNATIONAL HUMANITY and DIASTYLE in Nepal. Both are currently planning future activities aimed at bringing additional free medical care to rural areas of this country.
